On Election Day, November 7, 2023, the John Wallace Referendum Question will be included on the election ballot. Below please find a brief summary of the project along with the Informational Material for the Referendum Question.
General Project Information
John Wallace Middle School was built in 1971 and opened in 1972. All 29 classrooms in the Wings housing grades 6,7, and 8 were designed and built based on an Open Classroom format. There have been no significant changes to these wings over the last fifty years. Each Open Classroom has three flexible walls without a fourth wall or traditional brick and block construction. The Project would provide for classrooms to be fully enclosed along with acoustical and security components.
